Job summary

ofi Indonesia is seeking a Quality Assurance professional in Tangerang to ensure that all products, processes, and services consistently meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will lead QA activities across downstream processing, verify cocoa liquor, butter, cake, powder, and packaging against specifications, and drive corrective actions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food science/technology, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in Quality Assurance.

• Strong English communication (written and spoken).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with quality management software and SAP.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities and food safety risk assessment across processing operations.
• Ensure product specifications meet regulations during production and packaging.
• Maintain compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP-GHP, Customer Standards, and Regulatory requirements.
• Verify effectiveness of CCPs, PRPs, and Net Content of the Products.
• Lead investigations of food safety incidents and implement CAPA to prevent recurrence.
• Oversee corrective and preventive actions and their effectiveness.
• Coordinate contamination programs and cross contamination controls.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify improvements.
• Analyze data and generate quality performance reports.
• Assist the Manager in investigating customer complaints related to product quality.

Overview of the position

This role is responsible for ensuring that all products, services, and operational processes consistently meet established quality standards, customer expectations, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Placement: Tangerang, Indonesia

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance activities and food safety risk assessment across downstream processing operations
• Ensure cocoa liquor, cocoa butter, cocoa cake, cocoa powder, and packaged products meet established specifications and regulation during the process/production
• Maintain compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP-GHP, Customer Standards, and Regulatory requirements
• Verify effectiveness of Critical Control Points (CCP), Operations PRPs, and Net Content of the Products
• Lead investigation of food safety incidents and implement the CAPA to avoid repetitiveness in the products/processes
• Oversee the implementation and ongoing monitoring of corrective and preventive actions, verifying their effectiveness in preventing recurrence of issues
• Coordinate and monitor contamination programs including cross contamination of microbiology and foreign material control
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement
• Analyze data and generate reports on quality performance
• Assist the Manager in investigating customer complaints related to product quality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food science/technology, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years in Quality Assurance.
• Understanding FSSC 22000, GMP-GHP, HACCP, Halal, knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
