Job summary

West Kowloon Cultural District Authority seeks a diligent Ticketing Officer to support backend operations for the ticketing platform, ensuring data integrity and timely settlements. You will configure events, manage seating maps, and assist in system testing.

You will work under the Senior Ticketing Officer, maintaining accuracy in settlements, supporting internal users and hirers, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations across PDPO, PIPL, and GDPR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in ticketing system operations, system administration, or box office backend roles.
• Technical proficiency with ticketing platforms is mandatory.
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills; ability to match sales data to settlements.
• Experience with UAT and basic system configuration.
• Awareness of data privacy regulations (PDPO, PIPL, GDPR).
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot under pressure.

Responsibilities

• System Configuration & Event Setup: configure event parameters, seating maps, pricing rules, and access controls.
• Data Integrity & Reconciliation: support daily reconciliation between ticket sales, payment gateway reports, and bank settlements; prepare settlement statements.
• System Maintenance & Testing: participate in UAT for new features; document system issues and maintain health logs.
• Process & Documentation: follow BOH SOPs; assist in training junior ticketing staff; ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Reporting & Analytics: generate routine operational and sales reports; provide data extracts to internal teams.
