Job summary

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority invites passionate candidates to join our dedicated team as a Senior Customer Services Officer. You will ensure excellent guest experiences across venues by delivering professional information, ushering guests, and supporting efficient operations.

We value frontline hospitality experience, strong English and Chinese communication, and flexibility to work weekends or evenings. Fresh graduates are welcome; relevant event/tourism experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 5 HKDSEE/HKCEE Level 2+ subjects.
• Usher/front-of-house/event ops experience preferred; fresh grads welcome.
• Customer-oriented, proactive and pleasant.
• English and Chinese proficiency; other languages a plus.
• Ability to work at least 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth operation of venues by delivering excellent customer service.
• Perform information counter duties and respond to emergencies.
• Manage the cloakroom and bar with sales transactions.
• Prepare the F&B set before performances.
• Tidy the F&B set after performances.
• Handle venue bookings and related enquiries.
• Provide usher services and guest flow support.
• Support event operations for indoor, outdoor and off-site events.

Job description

You will be responsible for:

• maintaining smooth operation of performing arts venues by delivering excellent customer services;
• performing information counter duties and responding to emergency situations and cases;
• managing the cloakroom and bar with sales transactions;
• making ready the F&B set before the commencement of the performance;
• tidying up the F&B set including cleaning after the performance;
• handling venue booking and related enquiries;
• providing show usher service and guest flow support; and
• providing event operations support to indoor, outdoor and off-site events

You should:

• preferably possess at least 5 subjects at Level 2 / Grade E or above in the HKDSEE / HKCEE or equivalent academicqualification;
• preferably have usher experience in performing arts venue or good knowledge of front-of-house operations / event operations (Fresh Graduates are welcome. Candidates who possess 1 year of relevant experience in performing arts venues, tourism and/or hospitality sector may be considered for Senior Customer Services Officer);
• be customer-oriented, proactive and pleasant;
• preferably be proficient in spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in other languages is an advantage; and
• provide at least 2 days’ availability to work per week
