Job summary

Hillman Ross Limited is seeking a Store Development Manager for its large-sized retail stores and offices. You will lead planning, design and construction of new stores and renovations, coordinating with internal departments, consultants, contractors, landlords and property management to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Our client is looking for a Store Development Manager for its large-sized stores and offices.

Key responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and construction of new stores, as well as renovation and modification of existing stores

Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors, landlords, and property management throughout each project

Manage all statutory procedures and technical submissions — M&E, fire, ventilation, lighting, plumbing, and acoustic works

Oversee contractor performance, monitor budgets and timelines, and run site meetings to resolve design and construction issues

Advise management and store teams on all project matters, proposing practical improvements to fit evolving business needs

Uphold quality and site-safety standards across all works, including those of concessionaires' contractors, with minimal disruption to store operations

Ensure full compliance with construction and environmental legislation

Assess and maintain records of supplier, consultant, and contractor performance

Build strong long-term relationships with all internal and external partners, presenting a professional image at all times

Lead and develop the department team, managing records and data systematically

About you

Tertiary Education with minimum 8 years' relevant experience in retail fit-out / renovation for large-sized stores, or property maintenance project management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role

Experience with malls, department stores or large-sized retail stores are highly preferred

Strong experience in repair and maintenance planning, contractor management and cost control

Proficient in English and Chinese
