Job summary

DFI Retail Group in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Store Planning & Projects specialist to lead layout planning, store design development and standards compliance for retail spaces. You will coordinate with Operations, Marketing and Facilities to ensure timely project delivery and optimal customer experience.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Interior Design, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail space planning, interior design, construction planning, or project management.
• Experience in FMCG retail space planning and design is an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint is a MUST.
• Experience with SketchUp or other 3D rendering software is an added advantage.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills with both internal and external parties.
• Positive 'can-do' attitude, good teamwork and innovation.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Store Planning & Layout Management: develop and manage store layouts for new stores, remodelling and minor enhancements.
• Store Design Development: prepare design proposals, elevations, perspectives and submission packages; coordinate reviews and approvals.
• Design Standards Compliance & Continuous Improvement: ensure designs comply with guidelines and corporate standards; drive improvements.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Project Management, Facilities and Licensing; support fixture sourcing.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: consolidate and analyse store and financial data; prepare performance reports.
• Project & Meeting Coordination: organize design review meetings and project updates; monitor progress and coordinate stakeholders.
