Job summary

Hillman Ross Limited is seeking a Store Development Manager for its large-sized retail stores and offices. You will lead planning, design and construction of new stores and renovations, coordinating with internal departments, consultants, contractors, landlords and property management to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in retail fit-out/renovation or property maintenance project management.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with malls or department stores or large-sized retail stores preferred.
• Proficient in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and construction of new stores and renovations.
• Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors, landlords and property management.
• Manage statutory procedures and technical submissions (M&E, fire, ventilation, lighting, plumbing, acoustics).
• Oversee contractor performance, budgets, timelines, and run site meetings.
• Advise management and store teams on project matters, proposing practical improvements.
• Uphold quality and site-safety standards across all works and with concessionaires' contractors.
• Ensure compliance with construction and environmental legislation.
• Assess and maintain records of supplier, consultant and contractor performance.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners and present a professional image.
• Lead and develop the department team, managing records and data systematically.
