Job summary

Standard Chartered in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager for SME Banking to manage and develop relationships with small to mid-sized businesses and emerging corporates. You will drive growth by offering financial solutions while ensuring risk and regulatory compliance in daily operations.

The role requires strong client management, cross-border experience, and expert knowledge of trade, cash, lending and FX products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience serving business, commercial and corporate clients.
• Experience servicing cross-border international businesses.
• Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modelling, and financial statement analysis.
• Licenses including IA TR and HKMA RI.

Responsibilities

• Promote insurance and investment products for SME customers.
• Achieve agreed financial and non-financial targets by acquiring, growing, and retaining profitable customers within risk parameters.
• Contribute toward team targets and deliver optimal portfolio return.
• Collaborate with other Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, Risk, Compliance, and Product teams.
