Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group Hong Kong is seeking an experienced SME Banking Relationship Manager to lead new client acquisition and expand the portfolio across CASA deposits, commercial credit, and wealth products.

You will build relationships with SME founders, navigate credit risk controls, and collaborate with product teams to accelerate onboarding of credit facilities and government-backed financing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree holder in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• At least 3 years in commercial or SME banking relationship management and business development.
• A strong background in new-to-bank customer acquisition is highly desirable.
• Solid grasp of SME banking products, deposits, credit facilities, and government-backed financing programs (e.g., SFGS).
• Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• New Client Acquisition: onboard SME accounts across CASA deposits, business credit, and core banking offerings.
• Commercial Credit & SFGS Financing: assess borrowing requirements and draft tailored credit packages using government-backed schemes and commercial loan options.
• Portfolio Expansion & Solution Cross-Selling: deepen relationships with wealth solutions including Investment & Insurance, treasury services, and MPF programs.
• Client Engagement & Risk Control: build durable partnerships with corporate decision-makers while adhering to credit risk standards and compliance.
• Team Guidance & Internal Alignment: support junior colleagues and partner with cross-functional product teams to accelerate onboarding and credit processing.
