Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited seeks an IT Applications Helpdesk professional to provide support for IT applications and guide users in using systems. You will coordinate with developers for fixes and assist in testing and documentation.

Required are a higher IT degree or above, 3+ years of helpdesk experience, and skills in MySQL, PHP, JavaScript and Java. English and Cantonese/Chinese communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / accredited associate degree / Bachelor degree or above in Information Technology or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of proven and substantiated IT applications' helpdesk experience.
• At least 6 months' experience in MySQL.
• 6 months' experience in Drupal, PHP, JAVA and JavaScript is an advantage.
• Good command of both English and Chinese (written and spoken).
• Good telephone manner and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD.
• Provide comprehensive IT application helpdesk support and technical assistance for IT applications.
• Provide support and guidance to users in using various IT applications.
• Coordinate with developers for bug fixes or updates.
• Assist in application testing and software upgrades.
• Prepare e-forms and update application documentation.
