Job summary

CITIC CLSA in Hong Kong seeks an experienced IT Systems Support professional to provide functional support on trading and in-house systems, perform health checks, and monitor critical systems. You will handle incident escalation and changes, document procedures, and support IT security/audit reviews.

The role requires 5–8 years of securities trading system experience, strong SQL, Windows/Linux scripting, and the ability to work morning shifts and weekends with compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT-related discipline from a prestigious institution.
• 5-8 years experience in system support of securities trading-related systems.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server commands and shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of server and network infrastructure.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure and rotate to morning shifts/weekends with compensation.
• Willingness to work on mornings (7am) and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support on Calypso, TBricks, Imagine, and several in-house systems to users.
• Perform health checks and monitoring of critical systems.
• Incident escalation and management.
• Manage change requests from development and infrastructure teams and other configuration changes.
• Configure system monitoring rules and respond to monitoring alerts.
• Maintain documentation on operational procedures and technical environment configuration.
• Perform BCP drills and assist with IT security and audit reviews.
• Lead projects related to new system and server deployment.
• Other tasks as directed by the manager.
