Job summary

CLSA in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced production support professional to join the TechOps team. You will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Calypso, TBricks, Imagine and other Front Office systems used for Equity Derivatives and FICC.

The role requires around 10 years in system support, strong SQL, Windows and Linux skills, and the ability to work shifts, mentor juniors, and lead deployments. Proficiency in English is essential and Chinese language能力 advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS, Software Eng, or IT-related discipline.
• Around 10 years of experience in Calypso or Front Office system support for Equity Derivatives or FICC.
• Strong SQL, Windows and Linux knowledge.
• Excellent English communication; Chinese speaking a plus.
• Willing to work morning shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1/2 support for Calypso, TBricks, Imagine and in-house Front Office systems.
• Mentor juniors and train new joiners.
• Perform health checks and monitoring on critical systems during shifts.
• Handle incident escalation and change requests.
• Configure monitoring rules and manage alerts.
• Maintain documentation and run BCP drills and audits.
• Lead projects for new system/server deployments.

Position Description

We are seeking for an experienced production support professional to join the TechOps team in Hong Kong. The main responsibility of the team is to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support on the FICC and EQD Front to Back Office systems including both in-house applications and vendor platforms like TBricks, Imagine and Calypso to the business users.

Key Areas Of Responsibilites

• Provide functional support on Calypso, TBricks, Imagine, and other in-house systems to users
• Mentor junior team members and provide training to new joiners in the team
• Work on morning / afternoon shifts to perform health checks and monitoring of critical systems
• Incident escalation and management
• Manage change requests from development and infrastructure teams and other configuration changes
• Configure system monitoring rules and respond to monitoring alerts
• Maintain documentation on operational procedures and technical environment configuration
• Perform BCP drills and help with IT security and audit review
• Leads projects related to new system and server deployment
• Other tasks as directed by the manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an IT related discipline from a prestigious institution
• Around 10 years of experience in system support of Calypso or Front Office systems for Equity Derivatives or FICC products
  (candidates with less experience could be considered as ‘Sr. Support Analyst’)
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server commands and shell scripts
• Good understanding of server and network infrastructure
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills and excellent communication skills in English (Chinese speaking will be advantage)
• Very strong attention to details, able to work under pressure
• Willing to work on morning shifts (from 7am) and take turns to work on weekend
