Job summary

Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts in Hong Kong is seeking a Reservation Sales professional to efficiently record and process inquiries by phone, fax, or email and convert them into sales for the hotel. You will apply up-selling and promotional knowledge to grow reservations while maintaining strong product knowledge across ICHG properties.

The role requires excellent customer interaction, English literacy, and the ability to work within a fast-paced sales environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Problem solving and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in the use of computer
• Able to read and write English

Responsibilities

• Record and process all reservation inquiries efficiently and accurately, converting to sales where possible to meet hotel targets.
• Sell the InterContinental Hotels Group products and services using up-selling and suggestive selling techniques.
• Promote the Hotel’s products and services and maintain knowledge of rates, offers, and promotions.
• Monitor reservation levels and prepare reports as requested.
