Fides Solutions Limited is seeking a Project Manager/Project Specialist to lead HRIS implementation projects from initiation to delivery. You will manage scope, schedule and budget while coordinating with IT, HR and external vendors to ensure successful outcomes.
The role requires a PMP/Agile certification, strong HRIS knowledge and proven stakeholder management. You will work in a growth‑minded team to drive change and deliver measurable improvements.
Manage and oversee HRIS project delivery from initiation through to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget parameters
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, schedules, risk registers, and status reports
Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, HR departments, and external vendors
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actions
Lead project team meetings and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and progress towards project milestones
Monitor project performance against established key performance indicators and baselines
Manage project scope and implement change control procedures to handle any modifications to project requirements
Support the implementation and testing phases of HRIS systems, coordinating with technical teams and end-users
Prepare regular project status updates and reports for executive stakeholders
Contribute to post-implementation reviews and lessons learned documentation to continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Specialist, preferably managing HRIS or HR technology implementation projects
Professional project management certification such as PMP, Agile, or equivalent qualification
Strong understanding of Human Resources Information Systems, HR processes, and HR technology landscapes
Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling, resource management, and budget control
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
Proficiency in project management tools and software (such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms)
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify and resolve project impediments
Experience with system implementation methodologies and best practices
Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and compliance requirements
Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Fluency in English; additional languages such as Cantonese or Mandarin are advantageous
