About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (HRIS) to join Fides Solutions Limited on a full-time basis. This role is based in Hong Kong Island and offers a unique opportunity to lead and oversee the successful delivery of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) projects. As Project Manager (HRIS), you will play a critical part in ensuring that our HRIS implementations are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is integral to our business operations, as effective HRIS project management directly impacts our ability to serve our clients and optimise their HR operations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, initiate, and execute HRIS projects from conception through to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business requirements
- Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation whilst maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
- Manage project budgets and track expenditure to ensure projects remain within approved financial parameters
- Coordinate and supervise cross-functional teams, including technical developers, business analysts, and HR consultants, to ensure seamless collaboration
- Monitor project progress against key performance indicators and identified milestones, identifying and mitigating risks proactively
- Conduct regular status updates and progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage scope changes and handle project change requests, ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder approval
- Oversee testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the delivered HRIS solution meets client specifications and industry standards
- Facilitate training and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure end-user adoption and smooth system implementation
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and lessons learned records for future reference and continuous improvement

What we're looking for
- 3+ years of project management experience, preferable with HRIS implementations or similar enterprise system projects
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms and HR technology landscapes, including understanding of common HR processes and system functionalities
- Recognised project management qualification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining quality and adherence to timelines
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with proven experience communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience identifying solutions to project challenges and risks
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, or similar platforms
- Experience with HRIS vendors or platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors, ADP, or similar systems is highly desirable
- Knowledge of HR processes, business requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear documentation and reports
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Human Resources, or related discipline
