Job summary

Lockton in Hong Kong seeks driven Business Development professionals to acquire and build new client relationships by understanding client needs and delivering the right insurance and financial solutions with high-quality service.

You will develop targeted strategies, build a robust B2B pipeline, and establish relationships with senior decision-makers such as HR Directors and CFOs. The role requires English fluency and Cantonese/Mandarin are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma preferred.
• Experience in Sales and Business Development, ideally in Insurance, Brokerage, or Financial Services.
• Proven track record of developing new business with B2B clients.
• Ability to develop strategic client partnerships and deliver revenue growth.
• Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative skills.
• Driven, motivated, and creative with strong ethics.
• Must complete IIQE Paper I & II and be eligible for IA TR license.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin preferred; reading/writing in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted business development strategies to generate new revenue opportunities.
• Identify, approach, and secure new B2B clients through prospecting and networking.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across key market segments.
• Generate leads through referrals, industry networking, partnerships, and market intelligence.
• Establish relationships with HR Directors, CHROs, CFOs, and business leaders.
• Advise clients on workforce and business objectives using market insights and trends.
