Job summary

South China Morning Post in Hong Kong seeks a Senior HR Executive, C&B and Operations on a part-time basis to manage end-to-end employee lifecycle, payroll, and benefits administration. The role supports onboarding, relocation, and final settlements while ensuring compliance with HK laws.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in HR operations and C&B administration, experience in HRIS is a plus (e.g. BIPO).
• Well versed with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and related regulations.
• Positive, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Immediately availability preferred, 3-month contract
• Half-time or 3 working days per week

Responsibilities

• Lifecycle Management: Handle end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, visa application and relocation support, reference checks, terminations, and tax return filings.
• Payroll & Final Payments: Calculate accurate final settlements and manage payroll-related processes for designated departments.
• Benefits & Enrollment: Handle employee benefits enrollment, eMPF enrollment, and rental reimbursement.
• Day-to-Day Administration: Handle invoice payments, document/letter generation, and leave approvals.
• Ad-hoc Support & Operations: Assist team members with ad-hoc tasks, urgent requests, and special projects as they arise
