Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide onsite diagnostic and analytical support to customers within a defined territory. You will respond to system failures with hardware testing, diagnostics, and system analysis across OEM products.

The role requires 24/7 availability and occasional after-hours support. You will manage parts inventory, document activities, and coordinate with the customer support center.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with OEM data center hardware.
• Prior field service experience.
• CompTIA A+ and Server+ certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Ability to work long/unusual hours and be on-call 24/7.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Provides onsite technical customer support and ensures timely, professional response to service needs.
• Must be available for shifts at any time of day.
• Performs remote problem analysis to minimize downtime and trips.
• Handles inventory control including parts determination and bi-yearly counts.
• Completes audit forms, timesheets and expense reports on time.
• Communicates effectively with customers and support center during repairs.
• Analyzes logs and performs diagnostics to repair hardware and systems.
