Job summary

Amazon Web Services Hong Kong Limited is seeking engineers to own and operate data center functions, including 7x24 support, incident response, break-fix, and capacity management. The role requires adapting to fast-changing environments and shift work including weekends and holidays.

You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network professionals, contributing to safe, efficient operations while upholding high standards and cost-conscious data center service delivery.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts.
• Experience with English-language communication (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and customer-facing service orientation.
• 1+ years in server hardware troubleshooting or network equipment installation/configuration.
• 1+ years in network cabling, optic types, and test equipment, or related roles.
• Degree or higher in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or related fields.
• Strong incident response and prioritization understanding.

Responsibilities

• 7x24 roster duty in data center operations.
• Incident first responder and onsite hands-on support.
• Break-fix and troubleshooting per guidelines.
• Maintain media operations per guidelines.
• Capacity landing and decommissioning per guidelines.
• Site management and tidiness in operation areas.
• Contribute improvements from daily operation experience.
