Job summary

AWS Hong Kong Limited is seeking skilled data center operations engineers to manage 7x24 on-site duties, respond to incidents, and perform hands-on break-fix tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will work with server hardware, networking gear, and media operations following established processes.

Qualifications include IT hardware/network knowledge, English communication, and at least 1 year in server or network support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts.
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and effective communication abilities.
• 1+ years of server hardware troubleshooting or experience with network equipment installation and configuration.
• 1+ years of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment experience.
• Sound understanding on incidents response and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• 7x24 roster duty in data center operations
• Incident first responder and onsite hands on support
• Break-fix and troubleshooting according to process guideline
• Maintain proper media operations according to process guideline
• Capacity landing and decommissioning according to process guideline
• Site management and maintain tidiness in operation areas
• Innovate and contribute from day to day operation experiences to improve operation efficiency
