Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of the Education and Development Department (EDD), the Manager will oversee public CPT/CPD training operations, including course planning, trainer and stakeholder coordination, class and webinar delivery, learner communications, reporting, quality assurance and supervision of the EDD operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the annual and rolling schedule of CPT/CPD public classes, webinars, seminars and selected featured training activities.
- Coordinate with trainers, speakers, moderators, subject matter experts and internal teams to launch new or revamped training offerings aligned with market needs and EDD priorities.
- Oversee end-to-end public class operations, including course set-up, enrolment monitoring, logistics, webinar support, attendance tracking, evaluation follow-up and post-course administration.
- Maintain effective relationships with trainers, regulators, professional bodies, committee members, corporate clients and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate course outlines, speaker information, training materials, appointment letters, approval workflows and participant communications to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Work with Corporate Communications and internal teams on electronic direct mail (eDM), website, online portal and other promotional support to enhance course visibility and enrolment.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, including training statistics, enrolment/income analysis, committee materials, meeting minutes and management updates.
- Support accreditation, CPD/CPT recognition and related quality assurance processes, including SFC CPT, IA CPD, MPFA CPD and HKMA ECF where applicable.
- Lead and support the EDD operations team, including task allocation, coaching, onboarding of new staff and workload coordination during peak periods.
- Handle operational issues professionally, elevate complex or sensitive matters where appropriate, and lead or support ad hoc departmental projects.
Skills, Abilities and Knowledge Required
- Strong project management, organisational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple classes, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Good understanding of training operations, webinar/class logistics, enrolment administration, attendance tracking and learner evaluation processes.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with confidence in working with trainers, practitioners, committee members and internal teams.
- Good analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail and ability to prepare training statistics, business updates and management summaries.
- Familiarity with financial services and securities-related regulatory requirements, with knowledge of CPT/CPD accreditation requirements being an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with LMS, webinar platforms, eDM tools or training administration systems will be an advantage.
- A hands-on, responsive and service-oriented team player with sound judgement, accountability and the ability to work under pressure.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
Qualification Requirements and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Training & Development, Business Administration, Education, Finance, Communication or a related discipline.
- At least five (5) years’ relevant experience in learning and development, professional education, training operations or programme management, preferably in the financial services industry.
- At least two (2) years’ supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Experience in CPT/CPD programme administration, webinar delivery, trainer/speaker liaison and stakeholder management will be an advantage.
- Professional qualifications in learning and development, project management or financial services will be an advantage.
