Property Management Services Authority in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant Manager (Professional Development) on a 1-year contract to help establish the professional academy, coordinate its setup, and oversee day-to-day operations.
You will assist in designing structured training programmes, deploying a new LMS with UAT, liaising with government departments and professional bodies, supporting promotional events, and preparing user guides and progress reports; immediate availability is highly
Reporting to the General Manager (Operation and Service), the appointee will be required to:
Assist in planning and coordinating the setting up of the professional academy, including the execution of key implementation tasks;
Support in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the academy;
Support the design and development of structured training programmes and associated assessment tools;
Assist in the development and deployment of the new Learning Management System (LMS), including overseeing the user acceptance test (UAT), ensuring seamless integration with existing PMSA systems, and confirming the system meets operational and user requirements;
Assist in liaising and coordinating with external stakeholders, including government departments and professional organisations, to facilitate the establishment and operations of the academy;
Support the delivery of promotional events, such as launch ceremonies and industry briefings, to enhance the academy's visibility and reputation.
Prepare user guides, operational manuals, progress reports and other administrative documents as needed; and
Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned
A recognised university degree or equivalent qualification;
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in training coordination, project management, stakeholder engagement, or related fields;
Experience in regulatory bodies, public administration, professional training institutions, or the property management sector will be desirable;
A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
Positive, pragmatic and able to work under pressure;
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
Familiarity with Hong Kong's tertiary education system, the Continuing Education Fund (CEF) application process, the Qualifications Framework, and its accreditation mechanism (including the roles of the Qualifications Register and HKCAAVQ) would be an advantage; and
Immediate availability is highly preferred.
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Renewal of contract will be subject to operational needs of PMSA and performance of the candidate.
