Job summary

DFI Retail Group in Hong Kong seeks a senior Learning & Development professional to design and drive total learning experiences using blended approaches, digital tools, and AI-powered solutions. You will partner with business leaders and HRBPs to align programs with strategic priorities and deliver measurable impact.

The role requires deep expertise in instructional design, adult learning, and technology, with a proven track record of scalable L&D programs and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in learning & development with successful facilitation of learning & development solutions through instructional design concepts, adult learning concepts, and technology.
• Experience designing and implementing functional capability building projects.
• Experience designing and implementing learning solutions using AI-enabled tools and technologies, including content creation, learning experience personalization, performance support, or workflow learning solutions.
• Stakeholder engagement - demonstrate ability to collaborate across departments to identify learning needs and align training initiatives with business goals and receive positive feedback of services and training delivered.
• Successful implementation of group learning & development solutions according to plan, budget and timeline.
• Achieve the effectiveness of metrics/measures of all learning & development solutions

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification of functional development needs through working closely with business & HR leaders to understand the business strategies and challenges
• Design, create, curate engaging and sustainable online or offline learning solutions to meet the needs
• Deliver learning & development solutions using blended learning approach and ensure application of learning at work
• Design and develop materials with digital and AI tools including visual graphics, video, gamification methodology, job aids and quick guides, etc. to enable an engaging experience
• Act as an evangelist for the groupwide learning curriculum
• Create a learning culture through building a strong partnership with business leaders and co-design learning application solutions
• Deliver where required learning to senior leaders aligned to the groupwide curriculum
• Play an active role in L&D COE across DFI sharing knowledge and best practices
• Develop a mechanism to monitor the effectiveness of training sessions and assess the impact of learning initiatives and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement

This position is a critical team member of the L&D community located in Hong Kong. Responsible to design and drive total learning experience leveraging blended learning approaches, digital tools, and AI-powered solutions to enhance learner engagement, personalization, and efficiency, to meet the development needs of both technical and personal effectiveness aspects. The person will be working closely with business leaders and their HR Business Partners to understand their business priorities and provide the right learning solutions to achieve them.
