Job summary

Don Nelson Technology Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a System Administrator/IT Operations Support professional to provide 24x7 on-site service. The role covers infrastructure health checks, incident resolution, and collaboration with technical teams to ensure continuous operations.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years in system administration, strong networking knowledge, and hands-on Windows/Linux server experience, with English and Cantonese communication skills. Shift-based schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
• 1-4 years' experience in system administration or IT operations support
• Good understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure environments
• Hands-on experience administering Windows and Linux servers
• Knowledge of system configuration, shell scripting, and patch management processes
• Familiarity with Docker, container technologies, or Microsoft Exchange is advantageous
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving skills
• Effective communication skills in both English and Cantonese
• Ability to work in a shift-based 24x7 operations environment

• Execute backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures to ensure service resilience

• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and service continuity
• Maintain operational documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives
