Qualifikationen

• Diploma/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• 1–4 years IT experience in system administration.
• Good knowledge of networking.
• Solid experience on Windows and Linux administration, system configuration, shell scripting and patch management.
• Knowledge on Docker and container and Exchange Server is preferable but not a must.
• Must possess excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English.

Our client, a specialist technology services company is looking to hire an IT Operation Manager.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible in the following areas:

Key role: Act as first line contact point for maintenance team to pick up call and email from customers and provide 7x24 On-Site technical support in roster basis (One person per shift, roster by monthly but may change according to requirements)

System Monitoring: Health check system periodically and track infrastructure performance and uptime using observability tools like Grafana or Prometheus.

Incident Response: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve systems network failures and cybersecurity events

Infrastructure Management: Maintain Linux/Windows servers, virtual machines, container platforms like Docker and Kubernetes and network equipment (Routers/Switch/Firewall/Load-Balancer)

Service and Data Recovery: Exercise service restoration, disaster recovery and business continuity procedures

Patch management: Apply O/S and software patch

Requirements

Diploma / Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science, IT or related discipline

1-4 years relevant IT experience in system administration

Good knowledge of networking

Solid experience on Window and Linux administration, System Configuration, Shell Scripting and Patch Management

Knowledge on docker and container and Exchange server is preferable but not a must

Must possess excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English
