Job summary

Nurture Living in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage full spectrum of HR functions, payroll and employee records, ensuring timely reporting and compliance with local laws.

You will assist with recruitment, handle work passes, leave and insurance matters, and advise staff on HR policies while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. This role offers independence, teamwork, and growth opportunities within a developing organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Accounting or equivalent.
• 2-3 years' working experience.
• Knowledge of Employment Act and Work Injury Compensation Act.
• Payroll experience and INFOTECH system knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills with confidentiality.
• Self-driven, initiative and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle full spectrum of HR functions.
• Maintain accurate HR database and up-to-date records for reporting.
• Ensure payroll is performed timely and accurately.
• Assist with recruitment from job postings, screening, interviews and orientation.
• Handle work passes including quota calculations, applications, renewals and cancellations.
• Manage leave, medical records and insurance tasks.
• Advise staff on HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure HR policies comply with regulations and laws.
• Maintain documentation for payroll-related records.
• Process yearly IR8A and IR21 submissions.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle full spectrum of HR functions
• Maintain accurate HR database and up-to-date employee’s records for accurate reporting
• Well-versed in payroll function to ensure payroll is performed at timely and accurate manner
• To assist with recruitment from job posting, selection, arranging interview and new staff orientation
• Full knowledge in handling work passes matters (quota calculation, application, renewal, cancellation etc)
• Responsible for leave management, medical record
• Assist and manage company insurance function eg updates, renewal and claims
• Provide advice to staff on HR policies and procedures
• Review and update HR policies and practices are in compliance with relevant regulatory act and laws
• Maintain proper documentation of all relevant documents pertaining to payroll
• Processing and submission of yearly IR8A and IR21 for staff in a timely manner
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by Management

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resources, Accounting or equivalent

• Candidates with payroll experience and INFOTECH system knowledge will be an added advantage
