Job summary

OOCL is seeking an experienced leader in learning and development to design, deliver and evaluate soft-skill, functional, and e-learning programs in partnership with HQ and global HR teams.

You will plan just-in-time learning solutions, manage the global e-learning platform, oversee the trainer pool and leadership programs, and optimize budgets while producing management reports to support strategic workforce development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in learning and development at HQ or regional level, preferably in MNCs.
• Experience designing, delivering, and administering learning programs.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Putonghua.
• Experience developing internal trainers is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end people development initiatives with HQ and global HR teams.
• Plan and execute just-in-time learning solutions (e-learning and face-to-face).
• Manage and optimize the global e-learning platform.
• Review people development frameworks to align with group standards.
• Manage internal trainer pool and support leadership/talent programs.
• Oversee training budgets and resource allocation for cost-effective execution.
• Prepare management reports and analyses.
• Handle new projects and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
