Job summary

HR Plus Hong Kong is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee supermarket operations and e-commerce initiatives as the company expands.

You will lead sales and marketing, sign new merchants for in-mall advertising, and drive portal growth while maintaining strong relationships with customers.

The role requires a Bachelor degree and at least eight years in retail, with fluency in English and Cantonese/Putonghua; a competitive remuneration package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of working experience in retail is required.
• Excellent written English; fluent in Cantonese and Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Lead in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies
• Explore new business opportunities by signing merchants for in-mall advertising
• Build strong relationships with internal and external customers to facilitate smooth operations; collaborate with sales teams for lead generation and market plans
• Provide value-adding recommendations and review business strategies and branding positioning in the market
• Drive new marketing programs to grow portal registration and usage to achieve KPI
