Job summary

Headsearch21 Consultancy Limited client, a well known retail group in Hong Kong, seeks a high-caliber Senior Retail Manager to lead a large store portfolio. You will drive sales, set targets, and oversee store operations, ensuring strong customer experience and profitability.

Responsibilities include developing store expansions and renovations, managing budgets, collaborating with Finance, Real Estate and Retail Planning, and coaching Store Managers to maximise performance and develop talent.

Qualifications

• University graduate in business related disciplines
• At least 8 year of experience in retail management
• Strategic, good business acumen and communication skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Putonghua
• Result oriented with excellent leadership skills and ability to manage a sizable team
• Flexible and able to work under pressure
• Proactive, organized and detail-minded

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead retail team
• Sets and manages sales target
• Conducts business analysis. Reacts on business opportunities and challenges to maximize selling opportunities
• Develop in store development, such as store expansion, renovation
• Manage store target, manpower cost and any store related expenses which also involves strong collaboration with finance, real estate team, retail planning team to allow the store P&L to achieved financial target
• Analyze business and store performance to develop actionable plan to address risk and opportunities in regular manner
• Ensures Store Managers maximize business through contests, promotions, and most importantly consistent, ongoing coaching and development of store teams
• Builds team spirit and morale by actively seeking and implementing innovative ideas to improve sales, store operations, training
• Focus on people development & talent incubation
• Maintain effective communication both internal and external parties
