You will drive operational efficiency, plan workflows, develop SOPs, and lead a team with a focus on customer service and KPI targets. Fluent English and Chinese preferred; 7+ years in retail operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in sales and operations in a sizable retail company.
• Strong store operations and people management experience.
• Proficient in English and Chinese, with good analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of retail stores and deliver operational excellence.
• Develop, monitor and review sales targets, KPIs and operating overheads.
• Analyze sales performance, track store performance, and prepare weekly recaps and action plans.
• Coordinate with internal departments and perform system UAT for new systems.

• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.

We are looking for Area Manager to oversee the daily operations of retail stores, monitor sales performance, ensure smooth and efficient store operations. The role works closely with different departments on inventory management, promotions, system enhancements, and new store openings, while also improving operational processes and handling ad hoc tasks as assigned.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for day-to-day management of retail stores and to deliver operational excellence
• Develop, monitor and review sales target, KPIs and operation overhead are in-line with budget
• Analyze sales performance reports, tracking of the retail store performance, weekly sales recap and action plans
• Coordinate with internal departments and perform system UAT for the development and implementation of new systems
• Work with other Departments to ensure stock control, merchandise planning, promotion roll-out, fit out works, new store opening etc are adequate and implement seamlessly
• Plan and develop operations flow, policies & control, and SOP in order to maximize operational efficiency and staff productivity
• Handle various ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in sales and operations from sizable retail company, FMCG industry is definitely an advantage.
• Strong in store operations and people management experience
• Demonstrate positive and a can-do attitude
• Patient, detail-minded, well-organized, multi-tasking and able to work under pressure
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and Chinese Word Processing
• Proficient of both written and spoken English and Chinese
