Job summary

Amazon Web Services in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a 7/24 data center team, covering capacity planning, racks delivery, installation, decommission and incident management. Qualifications

5+ years of direct people management experience.
Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks for multiple projects.
In-depth knowledge on data center operations, processes and continuous improvement; change, problem and incident management.

Responsibilities

Manage performance of data center operation teams.
Oversee day-to-day data center operations including queue management, 7/24 shift arrangements and hardware logistics.
Act as SME across all aspects of data center operations.
Ensure operational KPIs and metrics are measured and met.
Drive continuous improvement in team processes, technology, and automation.
Lead large-scale events (outages) as call leader.
Improve workflows and throughput for data center operations.
Maintain focus on service quality and customer experience.
