Job summary

Amazon Data Services Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Facility Manager to lead the 24x7 engineering teams responsible for critical data center infrastructure. You will drive safety, availability, and performance across mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and control systems, coordinating maintenance, incidents, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with critical data center electrical/mechanical systems.
• 8+ years in critical facility engineering and operations.
• 5+ years in people management with direct reports.
• REW Certificate (Grade B0 or above).
• Strong communication and fluency in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, fire protection and control systems.
• Lead and develop teams of 24x7 Engineering Operations Technicians and Chief Engineer.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Develop and review operation documents (MOP, SOP, EOP).
• Drive expansion and improvement projects across internal and external teams.
• Manage vendor relationships and enforce SLAs with regular reviews.
• Oversee CapEx and OpEx to fit operational needs.
• Serve as primary contact for data center incidents/outages and drills.
• Lead incident investigations with RCA and corrective actions.
• Support audits and compliance reviews.
