Job summary

Amazon Data Services Hong Kong Limited seeks a Data Center Engineering Operations Leader to oversee 24x7 mechanical/electrical systems, safety, availability, and performance across the data center. You’ll lead and develop Engineering Operations Technicians and a Chief Engineer, manage planned/reactive maintenance, and drive improvements from concept to completion.

You’ll coordinate with internal teams and vendors, manage CapEx/OpEx, and handle LSEs or outages, with emphasis on incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in budgets and project management for critical facilities.
• 8+ years in critical facility engineering/operations; 5+ years in people management.
• REW Certificate (Grade B0 or above) required.
• Strong communication skills; fluent in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and control systems across the data center.
• Lead and develop teams of 24x7 Engineering Operations Technicians and Chief Engineer.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance to minimize disruption.
• Develop and review operation documentation (MOP, SOP, EOP).
• Engage in expansion and improvement projects from conception to completion.
• Manage third-party vendor relationships and enforce SLAs.
