Job summary

PwC China is seeking a Course Manager in the L&D team to support leadership in building our workforce of the future and drive initiatives from strategy to execution.

You will design curricula, identify objectives, oversee quality, research trends including AI, and contribute to innovative learning solutions while supporting the L&D team's development and managing costs. The role requires collaboration across stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training design, development, and delivery.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with People Organisation colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English and Chinese.
  • Ability to work independently and in a diverse team.
  • Technologically curious and open to AI-driven learning solutions.
  • Flexible to ad hoc changes in responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop courses or curricula to meet learning needs, incorporating innovative solutions and AI-driven tools where appropriate.
  • Identify course objectives and create high-level design documents with sponsors to ensure expectations are met.
  • Oversee the effectiveness and quality of projects, curricula, and programs with key stakeholders.
  • Research and share insights on latest L&D trends, including AI, for potential adoption locally.
  • Contribute to innovative learning solutions and AI-enabled practices.
  • Support the development of the L&D team in future-ready capabilities and AI literacy.
  • Contribute to / support L&D strategic projects to improve learning outcomes and efficiency.
  • Ensure effective design techniques and delivery methods, including blended and virtual approaches.
  • Respond to stakeholder concerns as needed.
  • Plan, monitor, and control costs related to projects or curricula.

Job description

As a Course Manager in the L&D team, you will support the L&D leadership in building our workforce of the future and driving initiatives to reimagine learning in anticipation of the changing business needs, from strategy to execution.

Specifically, you will:

  • Design and develop projects or curricula that meet the learning needs of the practice, incorporating innovative learning solutions and AI-driven tools where appropriate.
  • Identify course objectives and create high-level design documents with sponsors to ensure expectations are met.
  • Oversee the effectiveness and quality of projects, curricula, and programs sponsored by key stakeholders and partners within the Line of Service (LoS).
  • Research and provide insights into the latest L&D trends, including AI and emerging practices, for potential adoption in the local environment.
  • Contribute to the initiation and implementation of innovative learning solutions, including leveraging AI and other technologies.
  • Support the development of the L&D team in fit-for-future capabilities, emphasizing AI literacy and the application of innovative methodologies.
  • Contribute to and support the implementation of L&D strategic projects with a focus on improving learning outcomes and efficiencies.
  • Ensure the most effective design techniques and delivery mediums are employed, including blended and virtual learning approaches.
  • Respond to key stakeholder concerns and interests as needed.
  • Plan, monitor, and control costs related to projects or curricula effectively.
Requirements

The candidate is expected to meet the following requirements:

  • In-depth experience in training design, development, and delivery (minimum 5 years).
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with People Organisation colleagues and key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a diverse team.
  • Technologically curious and eager to explore new ways of working, including AI-driven learning solutions.
  • Flexible in response to ad hoc changes in responsibilities.
