Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is seeking a Cake Shop Sales Agent to join our Cake Shop team at the hotel. Based in Central, you will sell pastry items in a professional and courteous manner, aiming to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction while delivering warm hospitality.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or above, has experience in catering or customer service, and is fluent in English and Cantonese (Mandarin a plus).

Initiative and good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Run daily operation of the pop-up store.
Provide excellent and consistent customer service.
Handle guest orders and enquiries professionally.
Carry out stock taking before opening and after closing.
Maintain cleanliness in working areas.
Arrange pastry items in baskets with appealing presentation.
Coordinate with Kitchen for special orders in advance.
Record quantities of replenishment items.
Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.

As Cake Shop Sales Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Responsible for the daily operation of Pop-Up Store;
Provide excellent and consistent customer service to our guests;
Handle guest's orders and enquiries in professional manner;
Carry out stock taking of all items before opening and after closing;
Maintain cleanliness in the working areas;
Arrange pastry items in baskets with well and appealing presentation;
Coordinate with the Kitchen colleagues of any special orders in advance;
Record the quantity of replenishment items accurately;
Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.

As Cake Shop Sales Agent, we expect from you:

Diploma or above;
Experience in Catering or customer service will bean advantage;
Initiative and good customers service skills;
Passionate in pastry and food culture;
Willing to learn and able to work under pressure;
Fluent in English and Cantonese, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus
