Job summary

Maison Eric Kayser in Hong Kong is seeking a dedicated Store Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations across our coffee, bakery, and retail shops. You will ensure excellent customer service, maintain cleanliness, and manage inventory and merchandising to promote the brand.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, roaster staff rostering, training of front-of-house team, and coordinating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to arrive at 06:30am.
• Good command of English and Chinese.
• Good communication skills and positive attitude.
• Team player.
• Willing to learn and demonstrate interest in the F&B service industry.
• Experience with POS systems and computer tasks.
• Good command of making coffee.
• Neat and high level of personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Handle opening and closing of the shop according to the schedule.
• Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the shop.
• Provide guidance to customers with knowledge of the menu items.
• Keep merchandising areas organized and attractive.
• Implement workflow and supervise the front-of-house team.
• Coach staff on sales programs and customer approaches.
• Arrange the roster.
• Order food and drinks from suppliers and manage year-end inventory.
• Limit wastage of fresh products and adjust orders.
• Make decisions, report issues, and request help when needed.

• Handle Opening and Closing of the shop depending on the schedule
• Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the shop
• Good understanding of the menu items to guide customers
• Keep the merchandising areas well organized & attractive
• Implementing the workflow & supervise the front of house team
• Coaching staffs on sales program & customer's approach (welcome, answer questions)
• Arranging the roster
• Ordering Food & Drinks to suppliers & handling the end of year inventory
• Limiting wastage of fresh products & adjusting orders
• Taking decisions / reporting issues / asking for help in certain situations

Requirements

• Must be able to arrive at 06:30am
• Good command of spoken English and Chinese
• Good communication skills and positive attitude

• Willing to learn & demonstrating interest in the F&B service industry
• Experience in handling a POS & computer tasks is a +++
• Good command in making coffee is a +++
• Neat & High level of personal hygiene

Working hours: 8.25 hours + 1 hour break per shift

Straight Shifts: 06:30-15:45 & 12:15-21:30 (including 1 hour meal break)

Day off: 5 days off per month
