Job summary

PERSOL Hong Kong Limited has a Buy-side Middle Office & Fund Operations Analyst position in Admiralty. The role focuses on overseeing BAU MO tasks, external vendor relationships, and lifecycle controls across diverse instruments, including derivatives.

A strong SME in MO processes is essential for driving efficiency and regulatory readiness. The contract is 1 year, with 14 days annual leave and 2 days of paid sick leave per month offered as benefits.

Qualifications

• Over five years of Buy-Side Middle Office experience covering trade matching, settlement, derivatives, reconciliation and cash.
• Experience with equities, fixed income, FX, ETD/OTC derivatives, and collateral workflows.
• APAC settlement knowledge and related regulatory context is a plus.
• Strong SME credentials in projects and initiatives.
• Experience coordinating with asset managers and third-party fund services.

Responsibilities

• Execute BAU tasks and serve as BAU point of contact for Middle Office topics.
• Oversee outsourced MO activities and ensure full trade life cycle coverage.
• Identify issues, conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Champion process improvements and support automation initiatives.
• Oversee MO service providers to maintain high standards of delivery.
• Ensure readiness for fund launches and market/account openings with stakeholders.
• Respond to KYC/due diligence requests from brokers and custodians.
• Maintain oversight framework for external fund services vendors.
