Job summary

OCR Alpha, partnered with a leading global multi-strategy hedge fund, is building its Hong Kong presence from the ground up. We are seeking a Middle Office professional to own local operations and integrate with an established global platform.

The role covers day-to-day trade support across fixed income, FX and macro products, collaborating with PMs, traders and Operations to ensure smooth activity and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Several years' experience in Middle Office or Investment Operations.
• Hands-on exposure to fixed income, FX or macro products.
• Comfortable managing BAU operations independently.
• APAC equities experience advantageous but not essential.

OCR is partnered with a leading global multi-strategy hedge fund making a key hire as it establishes its Hong Kong presence for the first time. This is a rare opportunity to join at the outset of a new regional build-out, taking ownership of local Middle Office operations while benefiting from the infrastructure of an established global platform.

The Role

• Provide day-to-day trade support across fixed income, FX and other macro products, covering the full trade lifecycle (T+0 and T+1).
• Work closely with PMs, traders and global Operations teams to ensure smooth trading activity.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have several years' experience in Middle Office or Investment Operations, preferably within a hedge fund or buy-side environment, with hands-on exposure to fixed income, FX or other macro products.

They should be comfortable managing BAU operations independently, working closely with traders and global teams, and identifying opportunities to improve existing processes. APAC equities experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Compensation is highly competitive, with the firm prepared to buy out any bonus forfeited as a result of moving.
