Qualifikationen

• Over five years of Buy-Side Middle Office experience covering trade matching, settlement, derivatives, reconciliation and cash.
• Experience with equities, fixed income, FX, ETD/OTC derivatives, and collateral workflows.
• APAC settlement knowledge and related regulatory context is a plus.
• Strong SME credentials in projects and initiatives.
• Experience coordinating with asset managers and third-party fund services.

Buy-side, Middle Office & Fund Operations Analyst (Up to 65K)

Our Client is a global asset management organization, they are seeking for a Middle Office & Fund Operations Analyst to support the Middle Office buy-side team.

Key Responsibility

Middle Office:

Execute BAU tasks and serve as BAU point of contact for Middle Office topics, managing requests from both internal and external stakeholders (such as portfolio managers, traders, Compliance and brokers, custodians and Middle Office service provider) with efficiency and professionalism.

Take ownership of oversight controls for outsourced Middle Office activities, ensuring smooth execution across the full trade life cycle - including equities, fixed income, FX, ETD & OTC derivatives, corporate actions, reconciliation, cash, and collateral management.

Identify, report and resolve BAU issues and incidents. Conduct root cause analysis and support implementation of preventive measures.

Champion process improvements by proposing and supporting automation and efficiency initiatives.

Oversee and constructively challenge Middle Office service providers to maintain high standards and optimal service delivery.

Ensure readiness of operational implementation for fund/mandate launches and market/ account openings with internal stakeholders (eg. Compliance, Legal, Investments, Trading, Product teams), external service providers (eg. middle-back office/ trustee/ custodian) and brokers

Response to regular KYC/due diligence request from external service providers such as brokers and custodians

Ensure oversight framework and controls are in place for key external fund services vendors. Escalation point between internal stakeholders vs external fund services vendors

Ensure fund valuation/ expenses & NAV oversights and control processes are effective and continuously fulfilling regulatory and business requirements

Involve in operational efficiency enhancement and regional projects

Requirements and Qualifications

More than five years' experience in Buy-Side Middle Office function covering trade matching, settlement, derivative life cycle, reconciliation, corporate actions, and cash-related activities.

Good knowledge of various public market instruments such as equities, fixed income, FX as well as ETD & OTC derivatives, collateral management, and related workflows (front to back office).

Knowledge of APAC market specific settlement processes is required, related regulations impacting the asset management industry is a plus

Experience as Subject Matter Expert in projects / initiatives

Strong experience in a multi-cultural environment

Understanding of full trade life cycle including awareness of middle and back-office functions/processes and their touch points with the Front office and downstream

Experience in the Asset Management industry

Experience in an Outsourced Middle Office model is a real plus

Experience in coordinating asset manager operational changes/initiatives and with 3rd party fund service provider is an advantage

Demonstrated Business Analysis skills

University degree in Business Administration / Economics / Finance
