Susquehanna International Group in Hong Kong is seeking a Business Operations Analyst (Middle/Back) to support the day-to-day running of the middle and back office. You will reconcile positions, ensure accurate trades, and maintain a strong control framework across the trade life cycle while supporting growth.

The role requires 4+ years in financial markets, with knowledge of equity derivatives, trade flow, and data handling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role within the financial markets.
• Operational knowledge of financial markets.
• Knowledge of equity derivatives, especially options and equities.
• Ability to handle trade flow through to settlement.
• Knowledge of SQL, VBA and Python; AI tools would be highly regarded.
• Adaptability and willingness to lead initiatives and uplift standards.
• Strong relationship-building with internal teams and broker contacts.
• Ability to prioritize based on materiality and risk considerations.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of position, cash, and trade activity prior to Market open.
• Reconcile front office Profit and Loss estimates to prime broker reporting.
• Analyse accruals including capital charges, expenses, and commissions.
• Price validation of Trader EOD close prices.
• Liaise with external parties to resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to system improvements to streamline daily processes.
• Support growth and expansion into new products and markets.
• Work with legal and compliance for onboarding new relationships.
• Support desk to manage Margin obligations.
• Maintain and manage operational processes per regulatory framework.
