We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to build and lead a new trading division for the Group.
This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial candidate who wants to create a new business line from the ground up, with real upside potential through commission, profit sharing, and a clear path to partnership. Depending on your expertise, you will take full ownership of one sector or propose your own focus area.
Responsibilities:
Own full P&L accountability for a new business vertical, leading end-to-end growth from initial market intelligence and supplier sourcing to final deal execution.
Identify, assess, and prioritize high-value trading opportunities, building data-driven business cases to accelerate projects from concept to closure.
Lead commercial negotiations and contract structuring with brand owners, suppliers, and key corporate buyers to secure high-impact strategic partnerships.
Deliver regular pipeline analysis, performance metrics, and financial forecasts directly to executive leadership to guide strategic decision-making.
Spearhead cross-functional collaboration with finance, operations, and logistics to streamline execution, mitigate risk, and guarantee on-time delivery.
Job requirements:
Bring 3 to 5 + years of proven success in B2B business development, wholesale, or international trading, with a strong focus on cross-border commerce.
Leverage an established, ready-to-tap network of brand owners, suppliers, distributors, or corporate buyers within your specific sector.
Demonstrate a solid track record of launching or scaling business lines, expanding product categories, and driving key account growth.
Possess the ability to independently spot market trends, architect profitable trading models, and drive execution from strategy to completion.
Communicate and negotiate flawlessly in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese), in both written and verbal business contexts.
