A major healthcare provider in Nottingham is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of patients and staff. Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV systems, managing incidents, and liaising with emergency services. Candidates must hold a valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) Licence. Shift work, including nights and weekends, is required. The role offers a chance to be part of a dedicated team within a diverse and inclusive environment.
This role provides a uniformed specialist service to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff. It includes advising and protecting people and property, handling emergency situations, and liaising with emergency services in line with legislation and Trust policies.
Office-based environment with a need for concentration to monitor activity across the campus. Occasional exposure to aggressive behaviour and rare exposure to viewing potentially distressing incidents.
Shift work includes 12-hour days and nights, weekends and bank holidays on a 4 on/5 off rota; overtime may be available. The team works closely together and values good interpersonal skills.
