EdEx is working with 4 'Good' and 'Outstanding' schools across the Borough of Ealing who are looking for Unqualified Teachers – Science, Maths, and English.
The position is the perfect opportunity for a graduate looking to kickstart their teaching career and have their teacher training funded by the school they work with.
There are many routes into being a qualified teacher from this role, including the 12‑week assessment‑only route, a schools direct initial teacher training programme, and a PCGE.
- Have your own classes that you are responsible for, with the support of a subject‑specialist mentor who would work with you intensively.
- Provided schemes of work.
- Working alongside the School covering all lessons.
- Providing high‑quality cover lessons – KS3‑4 basis.
- Having a subject specialism where your personal strengths lie.
- Raising attainment & the quality of learning.
- Inspiring & motivating young minds.
- Managing behaviour effectively.
- ASAP Start – Full Time – Term Time Only.
- A degree at 1st class or 2:1 in Science, Maths, or English from a reputable university.
- Strong A‑Levels and GCSEs.
- Experience – strong experience working inside education in any of the following roles:
- Unqualified Teacher
- Cover Supervisor
- HLTA
- Tutor (6 months+)
- Teaching Assistant (6 months+)
- Passionate about your subject specialism.
- Committed to a career in education.
- Comfortable teaching classes of 25‑30.
