About the role

Our Food and Beverage department is a key part in providing our passengers with a smooth and positive journey through our airport. Our F&B Team Leaders are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurants, bars, and cafes across the terminal. Here’s what you will be doing day to day:

• Oversee, manage, and develop a team of F&B assistants.
• Responsible for the rota for my team, including shift and daily duties allocation.
• Manage stock control, including ordering, rotation, and waste control.
• Handle the movement and storage of stock deliveries.
• Serve customers at their table and at the till point.
• Prepare hot and cold beverages.
• Prepare hot food items and deliver them to our customers' tables.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment, floors, and tables.
• Work with my team and colleagues from other departments to consistently deliver exemplary service.
• Fully embody the Airport's ‘One Team’ culture, understanding that there may be times when I am required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
• Understand that the Airport operates 24/7, so I may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Sounds good so far? You’re probably wondering “What skills and experience do I need for this role?” Here are the required skills:

• Supervisory experience in a food and beverage setting.
• Hold a level 2 in Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
• A full understanding of both front of house (Restaurant, Bar, and Café) and back of house (Kitchen management) operations.
• Experience in customer service.
