Junior Sous Chef - Excel, London | Full-Time / Permanent

We’re looking for a driven Junior Sous Chef to bring creativity, consistency, and energy to our kitchen. In this role, you’ll support the senior team in delivering exceptional dishes, leading by example on busy service, and helping to shape an outstanding food experience for our guests. • Improving in food preparation and presentation
• Maintaining high food quality standards through tastings and refining techniques
• Managing the stock take process
• Assisting in project management for upcoming events
• Assisting with the preparation of labour planners and staff rotas
• Providing ongoing support to the Head Chef in managing day-to-day operations, including food cost control, labour cost management, and reducing waste

• Proven experience as a Chef De Partie/Junior Sous Chef equivalent role with a strong culinary background
• Demonstrated skill in preparing a diverse range of high-quality dishes.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• A creative approach to menu planning and presentation
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekend
• Genuine interest and enthusiasm for working in the events industry
