Sales Director

A leading British Manufacturing company specialising in precision plastic injection moulding, tooling and product development have an immediate requirement for an experienced Sales Director to join them.

Location: Huntingdon, PE29 3BP

Salary: Circa £60,000 – £70,000 commission/bonus car or car allowance.

As Sales Director you be supporting all sales and marketing activities and to facilitate the ongoing growth through development of both existing business and new market opportunities to facilitate increase in company turnover.

This will include:

* Ensure the company performs in line with its duties as a responsible company and performs financially in line with agreed annual financial budgets.
* To ensure sales driven through the company by a strategic approach and continuous marketing and sales activities
* Define and execute a marketing strategy to grow the injection moulding business in particular areas that are agreed upon within the Senior Management Team
* Continue development of the E-marketing strategy including email campaigns, SEO and website growth
* Open new markets and opportunities for growth in plastic injection moulding in particular the furniture sector and packaging sector.
* Manage and develop online sales
* To make key decisions within the sales department.
* Support customer visits internally and externally.
* To ensure there is adequate retraining of existing and new staff to ensure the longevity of the departments.
* To develop new business and help improve and grow existing business.
* Undertake any other duties as necessary to fulfil the needs of the job and its objectives as and when required

As Sales Director it is essential you have a proven background in Manufacturing / Engineering and previous experience with Plastic Injection Moulding.

This is a hands-on role and you will be expected to visit key clients and various sites across the UK.
