Job Title: Operations Team Leader – Asset Finance – Hybrid working (3 days office-based, 2 days at home) - Eastern Thames Valley offices – Salary up to £75,000 plus benefits and bonus

Our client, a leading financier with whom we have successfully recruited for many years across sales, credit, operations, and board-level roles, is seeking to hire a UK & Ireland Operations Team Leader.

The operations team you will lead is part of a wider group of 6 teams located across various jurisdictions. You will report to a senior leader based in one of these jurisdictions but will have a dotted reporting line into a senior UK-based director.

This role involves leading a team of 6 UK-based staff responsible for managing all UK and Ireland business transactions from initial drawdown to end-of-lease activities.

To illustrate the scale, the UK and Ireland operations team processes over 1,200 transactions annually for customers in both the private and public sectors, including global clients.

Your team will work closely with the UK sales team, finance, legal, and other departments, as well as with counterparts in other countries.

The ideal candidate will have operations leadership experience within the UK asset finance and leasing sector, preferably in mid to large corporate environments.

We are also open to considering applicants with operational leadership experience in related sectors such as motor finance, invoice finance, corporate or commercial banking, etc.

Exceptional candidates with leadership experience in consumer finance or non-finance sectors may also apply.

You must have people leadership experience and be able to work 3 days a week from our client's offices in the Eastern Thames Valley.
