Coventry City Council seeks a Procurement and Commissioning Assistant to enhance procurement processes and support service managers. The successful candidates will be joining the team at an exciting time. Procurement Services are at the heart of the ongoing economic and social development of the city and are involved with supporting plans for Very Light Rail (VLR) and the City Centre South development. Procurement Services are also integral to improving services for Adults and Children’s Social Care, Public Health, and Homelessness strategies. Procurement Services have a proven track record of developing staff and providing career pathways into procurement.

Working under the supervision of the Procurement Systems and Contracts Manager, you will support the delivery of the Council’s strategy by providing advice, information, and support on procurement and commissioning matters to procurement colleagues, practitioners, and service managers.
