An established FM company in Derby is seeking a Fabric Engineer for a temp to perm role. The position offers a pay rate of £22-£24 per hour with permanent salary potential of £32,000. Responsibilities include general building maintenance tasks such as repairs and response to reactive works. Ideal candidates should have prior experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fabric or general building maintenance environment.
- Good knowledge of PPM routines and general building fabric repairs.
- Relevant qualifications or proven practical experience in a similar role.
- Ability to carry out tasks independently and to a high standard.
Responsabilités
- Respond to reactive works within the team.
- Perform painting and decorating as needed.
- Repair floor and wall coverings.
- Carry out ceiling tile repairs and replacements.
- Complete fire door replacements and repairs.
Connaissances
We are looking for a Fabric Engineer to join the team of an established FM company in the Derby area on a temp to perm basis. Our pay rate is £22-£24 per hour, paid weekly via umbrella. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00. Temp to Perm (permanent salary £32,000). Derby - Static Role.
- Responding to reactive works within the team
- Painting and decorating as needed
- Repairing floor and wall coverings
- Carrying out ceiling tile repairs and replacements
- Performing other building and installation works as required
- Accountable for lighting, general lamp changes, filter changes on AHUs/FCUs, and basic plumbing requirements
- Completing fire door replacements and repairs
- Previous experience in a fabric or general building maintenance environment
- Good knowledge of PPM routines and general building fabric repairs
- Relevant qualifications or proven practical experience in a similar role
- Ability to carry out tasks independently and to a high standard
- Joiner qualification
