Academics is working closely with a number of Colchester-based secondary schools who are looking for reliable and professional Cover Supervisors to support their teams throughout the academic year. This role is perfect for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or experienced support staff who are confident leading a class in the absence of the teacher.
- Supervise pre-set work across KS3 and KS4 classes
- Ensure good classroom behaviour and engagement
- Provide support and encouragement to students
- Follow the school's policies and procedures at all times
- Experience as a Cover Supervisor or in an educational setting
- Confident behaviour management skills
- Experience with Key Stages 3 & 4
- Adaptability and initiative
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
