Qualifications

Job description

Job Title: Advanced Practitioner – Child Protection
Location: East at Moresdale Lane and Technorth, Leeds
Pay Rate: £30.06 – £37 per hour

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is seeking experienced and committed Social Workers to join the Child Protection (CP) Teams based in Leeds. This is a vital role within the Children’s Services, where you will work directly with children, young people, and families to safeguard and promote their welfare.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will

  • Manage a caseload of children and families requiring statutory intervention, including CIN, CP, and PLO cases.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop outcome-focused plans to safeguard children and promote their well-being.
  • Lead and participate in multi-agency meetings, including child protection conferences, core groups, and legal planning meetings.
  • Prepare high-quality reports for court and other statutory processes, ensuring timely and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Conduct regular home visits and direct work with children to assess risk, monitor progress, and build trusting relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to deliver coordinated and effective interventions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records in line with legislative and local requirements.
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
